TV is My Crack and I’m OK with that.

This has to be one of the best quotes Ragan Fox used in his podcast “Fox in the City.” Yeah, I’m plugging him again, that’s because he’s so damn funny. The boy just cracks me up. The more I listen the more I think the boy deserves his own TV show like the Daily show. Maybe we can call it the Gayly Show, and have it on Logo or something. Just an idea… But I am a reality show fan, I don’t watch them all but I get into Survivor, Martha Stewart Apprentice, My Life on the D List, Family Plots, Tuckerville, Simple Life and American Idol (but only in the beginning when it’s bad). So you see I’m hooked on some mighty powerful crack. I know I can hear what you’re saying now. You can’t be serious, you really watch (Insert show). And I answer yes I do.

Ok I say this, the title because I’m watching the crack family. Yes and I do mean “Being Bobby Brown” the Christmas episode. OMG, do you need any further evidence most of America thinks this family is on crack? I think not, in the words of Kathy Griffin, allegedly.. we have no proof but we can add up 1+1=2. Can’t we? I knew we could. This should be the most dysfunctional family Christmas. And I have one question about this show, ok, he’s got the older kids, the one with Whitney, where in the world does the boy come into the picture, who appears to be younger then his daughter? HMMM kinda makes you wonder. But I used to feel sorry for Whitney, and always thought she married down, well after this show, I feel sorry for Bobby, having to put up with her and her attitude. Makes you want to have a sign saying Check your Attitude at the Door. Where is Kathy Griffin when you need her? OMG I really have to get my stand up routine going. This show is too rich with material. It’s kind of like watching new lottery winners spend money. You know what I mean, they buy gold plated toilets and just tacky stuff. They will spend it on anything that makes them look cool and hip. This is just the equivalent of the reality show train wreck.

One show that Thomas has gotten me into is Project Runway. Yes I admit I watch it from time to time. I’m not hooked on it but the end part is what I like best. Where they have the top and bottom three and they open laugh and roll their eyes at what the judges say about the garment they created that week. I mean, yeah I’m thinking it and you’ve always wanted to see a show where they get to make fun of the other person. Well this is it, I crack up all the time. Plus I love to hear what they were going for and explain their work. Sometimes I’m like what are you thinking? But we shall see where that goes.

This leads me to the reason we have all the reality shows. Yes and I’m talking Survivor. Which I love, some seasons are good others are ok, this past one was ok but not the worst so far. I loved the fact no one stayed loyal to anyone, now that is Survivor. My main problem with Survivor is the contestants. Well they go on it, knowing they can win a million bucks. Well as it goes along people get stabbed in the back, and used. Then they get all upset when they get voted off or used. They speak of them using their friendship and such, well HELLO, this is a game to win a million bucks, yeah I’d sell you up the river too for that amount and no food and bad sleep, oh it’s on, I’m out to get rid of everyone. I have a theory how to win Survivor and it is… HEHEHE you didn’t think I would tell you, I’m going to apply to be on the show and see how well it works. Watch me be voted off the first tribal council. Hey but you get $2.000 bucks and a 30 day free vacation, so what’s not to love about that.

But Reality shows are one area of TV crack that I like. Maybe soon I’ll write about other areas of tv that occupies my time but none of them are as entertaining as Reality TV. And I didn’t even touch on the Simple Life, dear god that’s a whole other posting. Well happy TV viewing.

The Year in Review

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, Hanukah or what ever you celebrate. The new year is right around the corner and for once I have plans for new years. Good thing cause I don’t think I can handle Regis filling in for Dick Clark. Should be a great night for me and I hope this next year will be great. But I wanted to reflect on this past year with me and my blog.

The year started, I was working and going to school. It was pretty normal. But work slowed down and I was laid off. Then I started working with the family, which again I urge you never ever do unless you have some serious mental health coverage. I went summer semester, again, more mental health there too. And then that ended and Christmas was here. I hit a point in my life around July/Aug where I just got fed up with everything in my life. I know I needed to make changes and I think I have. Well they aren’t complete but they are working on it. This past year I gained self confidence. I learned I can do a lot more then I gave myself credit for, and that I’m not defined by my past. Which is a good thing. I had this revelation while working with the family. It was one of the few good things that came out of that whole situation. I have gained some new friends that I really care about and who care about me. I am more open and as I said I’m a friend to my friends now. Which has paid off.

This was also a year for break ups too. J&B, and a few other friends broke up. More so then normal. I think a lot of things the relationships had in common is they let things go for too long without doing anything about it. I think if you have issues with something then say so. Don’t be an ass about it but just say I don’t like this. I have learned to do that in the last few years myself since I dated my ex. When I was with him went out of my way to make him happy and I suffered for that in the end. I think you should make your partner happy as you can but not at your own happiness. I think a lot of people just over looked things and never tired to fix stuff before it was too late. There is a point in a relationship where you cross that line and you can’t go back. No matter what you do. I try not to get to that point, or even near it for that matter. If you piss me off I tell you now. I learned just because you get mad or upset at someone you don’t hate them, you just have an issue with something and you deal and get over it. This is probably my greatest thing I’ve learned in the last year or two. Before if I got really mad at someone it was over, I know it was very childish and stupid but I never really trusted people. Now I trust people and I guess before I was very my feelings very guarded, and now as you can tell by this blog that I like to say it all. The perfect example is my underwear fetish, I used to not let anyone I know about it, only sexual partners or bfs now I don’t care. I like undies and I have found there are many more out there that like them too LOL. Go figure who knew.

This has really been a good year for me overall. Even with the work stuff, other things have been really great. The greatest gift I got this year is Thomas. The more I get to know him the more I love him and feel closer to him. He’s an incredible man. But I won’t get to sappy on you guys.

Now for the year in my blog. Well, it’s progressed a lot this year. I went from hardly working on it a few times and talking about TV shows to really putting my heart and soul in it. As I said above I really got fed up with my life and didn’t have anyone to really rely on and I just started writing one day and it really helped. I hope you don’t get bored with posts like that but that is me, the true me. I hope my humor shines through too. I am a smart ass and sarcastic as hell. If you’re listened to the podcast you get my sense of humor. That too is another new addition. Thanks Darin! For the idea. But I was told the sound on the podcast is great and two people said that it didn’t’ sound like me LOL not sure that’s a good thing or a bad thing. But I have gotten feedback from a few people, a few friends who said it was funny and one comment saying it was great. So I’m very happy, I really was unprepared to do it, I was bored Christmas day and just did it. I don’t think I told anyone I was doing it until it was done and posted. It was so much fun to do and I’m really glad for the feedback I’ve gotten so yeah I’m going to do them 2 times a month or so.

Another new addition is the Hot guy of the week. Well I did this as a way to get readership. And I’m not sure it worked. I got the idea from Scott-o-rama. He has his guys that do it for me gallery and figured why not have guys every week. But I guess Muscle Boy in Training is where I got the weekly posting from. He posts the inspiration of the week. So I didn’t have space to do a guys that do it for me on the blog and I can post pics on the blog so I figured Muscle boy had the right idea. I like this feature and I have gotten the most comments on this feature. I hope you enjoy and I try to have many types of guys as the hot guy of the week. From the twink to the muscle bear and everything in between. I hope to have a few surprises this year for the Hot guy feature. I also would love to have reader’s pics on there too. I know I have some hot readers if you’re up for posting your pic, send it over. I can add email link or home page or what ever.

After I got through the time in July/Aug, I think the blog has really come into it’s own. I get serious sometimes, I get funny, and out there and I just want to have fun with it. I love reading blogs as well and it’s cool to get a glimpse in someone else’s life. And please email me or post comments and let me know what you like and don’t’ like about the blog. I love chatting with people. I have yahoo, AIM and Skype. So if you want to talk let me know. I’m always up for making new friends and I hope this year I can get to know a few of my favorite bloggers out there. So I guess my new years resolution for my blog is to keep it funny and fun and get to know some of the other great gay bloggers out there. Ok, now you’re wondering who would I like to get to know?

• Well top of the list would be have a drink with Joe My God, I think he is one of the best bloggers around. His posts and honesty are some of the best in the blogsphere and he has a way of telling a story that is just incredible. I hope I can do just as half as good of a job as him at my postings. At times I think I am and other times I’m wondering what the hell I’m writing.
• Next would be Darin of All Prep and No H. I love his blog and his podcast and he sound pretty damn cool. We chatted briefly on yahoo one day but didn’t get to chat too long. One thing I really like about Darin is his honesty, just look at his enema post, now I will admit that I’ve thought about doing posts like that but always chicken out, but he did and my hat’s off to you Darin. And his time and effort into supporting podcasts and the Christmas podcast where they talked to other bloggers, which Donnie from Fresh N’Tasty. Was great, Thanks Darin, if I get to Phoenix ( never can spell that city thank god for spellcheck).
• The next would be Rick from Rocket Mans Launch Pad. He’s one of the first blogger to give me a link from his site. I think me and him are a lot a like and I think if he lived in ATL or me in Chicago we’d make great friends. I love reading his blog and just makes me reflect on myself.
• Next is Billy at Kinda Like porn, no plot. He is the first blogger I talked too via AIM. He’s a great guy and I enjoyed chatting and wished I still got to DC like I used too and I’d take him to dinner and hang out. I know he’s been busy and not posting as he used too but I still check every few days for a new post.
• The next I want to meet is Large Tony. And not for obvious reasons. If you notice a theme with these bloggers is they all seem real to me, they seem like they are just being themselves and just typing whats going on and not trying to impress or say look at me. Hell I’m the first one to make fun of myself. Hey if you can’t make fun of yourself who can you? Tony is not the typical gay guy and he makes me laugh and think too.
• Dave at Speedoguy.com. I love his postings and he sorta resembles my love of speedos and just fun. I gotta get back into speedo shape so I can wear them in the summer. . Its just great to see someone who really gets into speedos and is not ashamed of it and just has so much fun with it. The think I am jealous of the most is he’s from Australia and which I think most guys wear speedos and he gets to see hot guys in Aussiebums and other gear on the beach, here we get board shorts and stuff. But I wish I have had half the experiences he had in speedos.
• One of the recent additions is Ragan Fox of Fox in the City. He’s got prob the best podcast around. I really respect him for the effort he puts in to it and the production he does. He makes me laugh so much. I think he’s cute too. He’s honest and out there and I love that. Plus he’s a power bottom, so what’s not to like about that! Opps don’t want to get into trouble, so I gotta keep it on the clean. Love you T LOL But if you read this Ragan I think you’re a f’ing genius. And the Star Jones Reynolds parts, I swear I laugh so hard at your podcast I can’t breath and end up crying for laughing so hard. Good luck on the thesis too!
• The last two bloggers I’d love to meet together. That is Jared from Completely Naked and Alex from The Great Cock hunt. These guys really capture the inner slut that is in me. They remind me of my younger wilder days and I think their blogs are incredible and one of the most entertaining out there. I’ve heard a lot of banter around the net that what these guys write is fiction. They just do it to entertain. I think they have both posted on this too. But I think it’s real, not just because truth is stranger as fiction, but also there is a consistency with what’s going on an the people. If you mad this stuff up you’d have to keep track of what’s going on and you’d eventually mix something up. But these boys do what I know a lot of people would like to do but would never give in. I will say in my wild days, which were pretty wild, I don’t think I did half the stuff that these two boys do, my hat is off to you two boys. Keep up the blog and the good times

Well I guess I need to wrap up the year in review. But I will say one more thing, I know won’t I ever shut up, no not really LOL. Since the posting of Skin Tight parties, my readership has tripled or more and I’m very happy, you like me you really like me! LOL Well I just hope I’m entertaining and I’m always trying to think of new posts and topics to write about and new features I can bring to you. Like the podcast. Now if I can just find a job! That is top priority this year and after the first of the year I’m going full force into it. Well I am now but this week isn’t a good week to try to find a job, not many people are working. But OMG I’ve gone to three pages in word and I think this maybe the longest post I’ve done, or one of them. Have a Happy New Year and Look forward to entertaining you for the next year!

Day after Christmas… Credit Cards set on stun!

The day after Christmas me and my mother usually hit Target when they open and get the good deals on the after Christmas sales. Well this year we broke the tradition. We’ve done it for the last 5 years. Since I have no job or money we decided that we wouldn’t go. So I get up this morning and around noon, my mother says that she waited for me to get up and go to Target. I was like we just talked the other day and we not going.

So we go around noon. Now take my advice if you’re going shopping after Christmas you need to go first thing in the morning. Because the idiots come out in the day. Now I think we can all agree that the majority of the public are stupid. Let’s all say it together “People are stupid.” I swear, I thought I would have to bitch slap someone. I remember now why I don’t want children. TANGENT alert! OK I have nothing against children per se, if they are well behaved and polite. The perfect example, was me and Thomas went into an antique store and there was a mother, and had her 3 kids with here, and they were probably 8-13 or so. They looked as stuff and talked but they didn’t run wild or go crazy. I told Thomas, now those were well behaved kids. But the ones in Target today were like you gave them Skittles and Mountain Dew and said go for it. Hell for that fact the adults too. You know when you walk down an isle you don’t just block up the entire isle with your buddy and just stand there. I swear these people were out like they were on the scavenger hunt for the last ham sandwich in hungry town. Again People are stupid. Ok, back to my point, which was don’t eat week old turkey. LOL sorry couldn’t resist that. But I these people are just out for any barging they can find. Now I’ve gotten picker in my older age. I used to buy up stuff and figure out if I needed it later. Now, I choose my purchases carefully. They had a kick ass chrome bar set, which would be great, but I don’t drink that much and usually don’t do mixed drinks, so I was like what’s the point in buying it if I wont’ use it.

But what I did purchase, hmmmm, made me happy. I didn’t spend over 20 bucks. Which has got to be an after Christmas record for me. But I got 4 Christmas CDs, the first one is LeAnn Rimes, not bad, the Target Sounds of the Season R&B collection, still not bad but the last two, OMG I couldn’t resist, they were about 2.99 each, so how could I not get them. The Care Bears Christmas, and Strawberry Shortcake Christmas. Yeah I couldn’t resist. The Strawberry Shortcake CD case is Pink and when I make my Christmas Album next year for friends, they better watch out. Beware of mail marked fragile next year from me!

So, having my finds we had to roam around a bit more and leave, which I thought we were done and going home, OH NO, we have to go to Pier 1, which is it me or has their store gotten tackier and the furniture tripled in price? If you pay full price for furniture there please let me kick you in the ass because there are plenty of places to get better furniture cheaper. And then we went to Linen and Things, which neither had anything. And where they are located it took 15 minutes to find a parking spot. So we leave there and we go to Belk’s. Which was cleaned out and you couldn’t find what you wanted in the remaining stuff if you wanted too. So we leave there and head home thank god.

So now I’m resting. And not going to do a damn thing. I posted the podcast yesterday. I had fun doing I got feedback from one friend who said he liked it. So I’m waiting for J2’s response who is MIA today, not sure if he’s working or what he’s doing. He was supposed to call me last night and let me know. I just got done listening to Darin and Donnie’s Christmas Podcast and it was pretty good. I also listened to Fox in the City, I swear to god that boy is funny. What gets me is he goes all out and it’s a production and that he really puts time into and does such a great job. I am going to send the boy some money to keep up his site when I get working again. He is too funny and it’s kind of like PBS and I’ll support people on the net that entertain men and make me think. Ragan does both. Although, back to my podcast, I was told by my friend, you sure did use a lot of dirty words, yeah I admit I’m a potty mouth lately, But I’m ok with that. If you listened to it, you’ll know I don’t use a lot of language here because knowing my luck I’d get kicked off.

I hope to do podcasts twice a month. One reason is it takes time, and I’m figuring out the program to record it. And second the server with the info on it is free, but you can pay 10 bucks a month for more bandwidth, which I need a job for, I know how pathetic is that. But I have a few leads for jobs and plan to get my act together and get a move out and get a life.

But I’ve rambled on, this isn’t’ one of my better posts so if you are a first time reader, I’m sorry LOL, it gets better. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas Everyone, or Happy Chrismahaunukwanzakah

Ok as a child I hated that line and I hated Tiny Tim, yeah cause I got called it in school. That’s all I ever heard around the holidays. And for future note, don’t call me Timmy , unless you have a brand on my butt! Another name I hate. In the words of one of my favorite cartoon characters “Call me Timmy and Die!: you get major bonus points if you know the original quote and who said it.

But today I thought I would talk about My Christmases growing up. I was the child that believed in Santa, my brother never really did, and it wasn’t till much later that I found out my mother threaded to beat him within an inch of his life if he told me the truth. Well not literally, but you know. When we moved into the main house that I grew up in we had not chimney, and I always wondered how Santa got in the house. This used to cause me great frustration, because he needed a chimney to come down. And trying to explain this to a 5 yo just didn’t work. I was convinced we needed to build a chimney so Santa can come to our house. But I was always talked about if I and Santa usually came and left many toys and presents.

The next thing that sorta confused me was that when we would go home to SC for Christmas, my cousins either lived in Texas for a while, or Virginia and Santa would come early. So of course you know with my devious mind I thought, well if he can come early for them he can come early for us and then forget he came to our house and come again. Well this didn’t go over very well, but hey you gotta try right.

Well, after Santa came, my brother would wake me around 3 AM and we’d go into the living room and see what Santa left us. Everything was laid out and of course se started playing right then with everything. This would eventually wake our parents who just went to bed and they would say go back to bed, this would last for another two hours then it’s like I can’t wait any longer and go right back at it.

As a kid I loved Christmas, the music, the season and everything. But especially the presents. But this would change. When I entered the workplace. My very first job was working at Toys R Us and Christmas there was pure hell. Granted we never had any “Must Have” toys that people fought over. But still, I never heard so many people complain. I mean why would you go pick out all your stuff for your kids on your lunch break and then complain that you can’t get ti done in an hour when 600 other people had the same idea? I’m no rocket scientist but wouldn’t you say, hey boss man, I gotta get my kids stuff, I’m going ot take longer then an hour. But the next job was at a mall and Black Friday was pure hell too. And seeing everyone shop and how greedy they were my Christmas spirit died. Even to this day, I think you should do unto others, rather then buy up everything in site for your greedy kids and make the world a better place. I’m not saying give everything to charity, but do something to make the Christmas of a child who wouldn’t have one. Or a family that wouldn’t. But you know the perfect example of greed this Christmas is the whole X Box 360, a few hundred bucks for a video game system that MS made only a few thousand and everyone went crazy over it. Let’s not get me started on MS, cause you know I think they did this on purpose. But camping out in parking lots and getting these is just ridiculous. I’m all for capitalism but I’m for helping people out too. .

One ironic thing through, I think I may have mentioned it before is, I love Christmas music, well not when radio stations play it from mid November till after Christmas, but when I want to listen to it. I probably have about 50 Christmas CDs and I love off beat Christmas music. Christmas Polka, Brady Christmas, and this years find is Captain and Tenniel. I was like NO WAY, but I still want the William Hung Christmas CD so bad, I gotta get it after Christmas somewhere. I meant to make Christmas CDs for my friends but I was just too lazy, and I spent all last night cleaning and Looking for my Elton John CD I lost, but it’s here somewhere. I gotta get this room in order and keep it that way. I have more posters then I can possibly frame or eve hang, so I thought that I may start framing them and giving them away to friends. But who knows.

Well Merry Christmas, and my day will be low key with family, just have to deal with my brother, yea what fun. And will call a few friends. And for those Jewish friends out there, Happy Hanukah, and my favorite holiday now Chrismahunukwwanzakah!

Merry Christmas and all that Stuff

I’m getting up this morning and doing my usual surfing the blogsphere and reading everyone’s xmas posts. Some are cool, some are political and some are just funny. I have never been much of a Christmas person ever since I worked retail. Well I should clarify that, ever since I worked my first retail job at Toys R Us. The Christmas spirit went right out the window and has been gone since then. Just seeing people shop and not get the true spirit of Christmas just doesn’t’ make it worth it any more.

Mr. Brian has had the best post today talking about how greedy everyone has gotten and no one does the “Do unto others.” Which is so true. I don’t know whats going on with the world lately. There is one thing in Atlanta that I really look forward too. It’s done by Clark Howard, who’s the national syndicated consumer advisor, he does Christmas Kids. Which is getting toys for foster children who wouldn’t have a Christmas. Now this is the spirit of Christmas to me. I haven’t participated yet, due to lack of funds, but when I do get a job with money I will. I think if everyone did a little for kids like this it would make the world a better place. Lately too many people are concerned with getting a new X Box or the newest gadget rather then remembering what Christmas is about. We all know I’m not very religious, but I do believe you should help those who need it. Sorry I’m getting on my soap box, but the Christmas Kids Program is one that everyone should participate in.

Moving on, One ironic thing about me is that I don’t really care for Christmas, but I love Christmas music. Yes its true, I like the traditional, but also the out there stuff. Like I have Captian and Tennille Christmas Single, (released this year), a Polka Christmas, the Partridge and Brady Christmas, and many many more, I’m right now debating getting the William Hung Christmas, it’s too good to pass up for 8 bucks. I’m always on the search for more Christmas music. This is not to say that I don’t like the traditional stuff, like Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, and such. But it’s all good. I was asked the other day what my all time favorite Christmas song is. I’d have to say Brenda Lee’s Rocking around the Christmas Tree. I don’t know why but I have always loved this song. So if you see any way out there xmas music let me know.

Ok now comes the time in our program when we sit in Santa’s lap and tell what we want for Christmas. I hope it’s in Hot Santa’s lap, like they have in LA, but here’s my list.

1. A great guy – well have found this one, so don’t need Santa to bring me this, wouldn’t trade Thomas for anything in the world. I just think he’s wonderful. The one thing I like best about him, which I didn’t think I would like, he’s funnier then I am and I always said I’d never date a guy funnier, but I really have liked it and that rule is stricken from my list,
2. A place of my own. I really want a place of my own and to get out and live my life. Living with the folks is enough to drive you crazty. I’ve reached my limit. But you gotta do what you gotta do.
3. A Job – ok this is top of my list and I’m sure in the next day or two we’ll have the shameless, let’s find Tim a job post, hey what ever it takes to get a job. But I can’t afford to move out unless I get a job.
4. A gym membership – so I can get a hot body, and wear my Speedos again, and yeah can I have the motivation to go too LOL, I can be so lazy
5. Of course some hot gear, I’d love a full football uniform, some hot undies or biking skin suit, just something hot hot hot.
6. Lastly, some new friends. I have a few very close friends, but always on the look out for more. Good gay men are hard to find. Especially ones there through thick and thin. I have friends in tough spots and I’m always there for them, no matter what. Just always have been.

Oh well, It’s be realistic about it, the only one I’ll get is number 1, that’s because I have it already, and well let’s face it, it’s the most important right now. I’ll be spending time with the family and having so much fun as we all are. Thank good for alcohol.

New undies!

Ok I saw this ad in my email today. Now the picture it self is hot as well you know. I have kinda mixed feelings about Ginch Gonch. Some of their stuff is really cool. like the picture. I really love the low cut briefs, I think again they are sexy as hell. But some of their underwear gives me the creepy child molester vibe. Yeah, the fire trucks and stuff on grown men’s underwear just ain’t right. I don’t know what it is but it’s like you’re wearing underoos at 40, you know just not good.

I like the solid colors, even the pink, and the star ones are ok. But the fire trucks, hockey players, and stuff like that just I can’t do it. Nope won’t happen. I love undies so much but this to me is just a bit weird. I entered their win underwear for a year contest, don’t really care if I win but you know it’s just those times that I usually win what I don’t care about. And I too will have fireman undies. You know I don’t think I could wear these even if I do win them. I could see me and Thomas making out and things getting hot and heavy and then take the pants off and I swear I can see him asking “What are those?” and laughing hysterically till he falls out of bed, hits his head on the night stand and is unconscious for about three hours.

I have worn many undies for guys in the past; I’m pretty open and will wear just about anything. I draw the line at women’s undies, although a lot of friends say my bikinis are women’s undies, they are just jealous they can’t fill them out, heheheh, and children’s undies. I guess Ginch Gonch, which I have no clue how to pronounce them, just reminds me so much of child’s undies that I can’t bring myself to wear them. It’s kinda like dad son role-play gone bad.

But hey I’m not knocking them for anyone else, but hey it’s not for me, if you have some, great, enjoy them, I bet they fit great, but just don’t put any in my stocking unless its solid colors or stars!

Dating, Boyfriends, Partners? Which one do you use... and the unexpected FREAK

I was talking to friends, including J2, the other week and it’s been a debate on when you use dating, boyfriends and partners. This has become relevant to me too since I’m dating, which I’m still taken aback by that, who would have thought that I would be dating, so far it’s going great and I really like Thomas the Mo. But moving on. HEHEHEHE

But we were talking about dating, I said that dating is what you do when you get together and before you do the “commitment talk” You know you’re going out, hanging out and you can be dating more then one person at a time. This is my way of thinking it.

The next level is boyfriends. I think this is when you have had the talk about being committed. Where you are exclusive and not really seeing anyone else, granted you’re not in an open relationship. Which you know me, is a whole other topic.

Partners I think is when you move in together and you really start sharing your life and just day in and day out together. I think you have to have been together for a while before you call your significant other this one.

Sorry I’m distracted, I’m chatting online too and this freak is telling me I’m his boyfriend and he is mine. This is kinda stalker material in the making. I politely told him that I was not interested and he keeps saying that he is who I’m dating. So finally I had to block him, damn he’s creeping me out. What a freakazoid. What is it that even when dating the freaks still find me. GRRRRRRR sorry, just gave the me serial killer vibe.

Ok back to the story before I so rudely interrupted myself. I guess you’re asking where me and Thomas are, see I know how you think. We’re dating although I think and hope, we’ll be in the boyfriends category very soon. Yes he reads this often so there wont’ be any typing things and hoping he doesn’t’ read the blog. LOL which in a way I like him reading it, it’s great that he does and when we talk he’ll sometimes bring it up or I’ll talk about the blog and he says yeah I read that and something else. He’s a pretty awesome guy and I’m very happy to have found him. M&T have told me that me dating is so unnatural, that it’s the age of the apocalypse. But you know after 9 years I guess it’s time. Although, had I lasted 10 years, which is only 8 months away, I was going to do a whole decade celebration of being single. But I’m much happier dating then doing the decade thing. So it’s all a good thing and I’m sure I”ll talk more about Thomas, but don’t expect too much detail LOL,

Call me, no I’ll call you, wait Skype Me, and Pod Casts too

There is a new, well not so new, but new to me service on the net. Skype. Which is an internet phone service completely free. Yes I said Free! I’ve only used it once, that was to talk to Thomas but hey, I figure why not post it on here and see if I can make some new friends from the blog or the net.

It’s really simple, you need a computer, a high speed connection, the Skype program and a mic or a headset. Once you get this, sign up for the service and you’re ready to make calls.

One thing that really surprised me was how well the calls sound. It sounded like a real phone conversation, not any breaks or static. This is very cool.

I’ve been reading All Prep and No H. A really great blog by Darin from Arizona. He sounds cool as hell and I really He’s giving me the idea about doing a pod cast, now I just have to figure out how to do it. Not sure the world wide web is ready for me on it. LOL. A Sad Day for the West Wing….

This isn’t the kind of two for I wanted. But I got an email from Thomas saying A Sad day for West Wing Fans. At first I thought the show got cancelled. Which I think maybe coming since they moved it to Sunday and keep preempting it for everything under the sun. But when I opened it I had this reaction. NNNOOOOO! The story linked was John Spencer of the West Wing Dies from a heart attack. This is too freaky for real life. In last season his character Leo McGarry suffered a major heart attack.

Spencer was one of my favorite characters on the show. And the new season was set on the ticket between Leo and Matt Santos (Jimmy Smitts). Which when you think about it was kind of strange since both stared in L.A. Law. From what I have read the next four episodes have been filmed, two focused on Leo, one was the Vice Presidential Debate, and the other is unknown as of yet. After Christmas the power that be at the West Wing will determine what to do, the election had not yet been filmed. The show is very much in the air right now and from many I have talked to think this maybe end of the show. I’m waiting to see what is announced before I make up my mind.

I just know that Mr. Spencer will be missed. I think he was a great actor and just seemed like a good man. Which

Tricks are for …. Gay boys!

OK OK OK, I know I’ve been slack about posting but last week I had my 165 page advertising project due for my Ad Campaigns class and also Mr. Thomas, who’s taking my time but you know I sure don’t mind giving it! He’s incredible, but enough about that, you’ll get more about that later.

Ok, in my earlier days I was known for my, shall we say sluttyness. Yes it’s true, you ask, how could this be true, you’re so cute, clean cut and boy next-door looking. But yes it’s true. If you’ve read the blog for a while, I was told years ago “I’ve been around the block 4 times and stopped at every house twice.” That’s a pretty accurate description. Back then I came up with the rules for tricking. I don’t recall if I came up with these at a bar one night, volunteering at the Aids Walk, or just hanging out with friends. But among my friends they became pretty popular. I’ve had them for over 10 years, because I had them before my ex. And that began in 1994. So here they are

1. Never give them your name, but if you have too, never give them your real name. Ok I think this is obvious but, when you go out you never give them a name, you go do your business and leave. No strings no worries. But if you have to give them a name, give them your “trick name.” meaning a name you can think of easily and use when asked. If you hesitate, guys won’t believe you.
2. Always go to their place. Ok, this one is great for avoiding stalkers. You go to their place and then you can leave when you want and not have to worry about them staying the night. I know we’ve all been there, you have someone you can get rid of, this doesn’t have to be in a sexual situation, but just someone who won’t leave. And if you’re just in the mood to get off and go then go to their place and you can always say “I have to get going, sorry I can’t stay the night.” If they are at your place its harder to get them to leave, you gotta think ahead.
3. Always get their number and never give them yours. Ok, again good for avoiding stalkers, but also, if they aren’t good in bed or you don’t want to see them again, you won’t have them call you. The perfect example of this is something like “Right now I’m living with my sister and can’t give out the number there, but I’ll take yours.” Hey if its good you can call them and set up another get together. Then after you developed a f*ck buddy situation trade number.

Ok, these rules were made before the days of the internet. Now we have Manhunt, AOL and tons of other places to meet. I think you can get away will all three, but now for number 3, instead of phone numbers you can trade emails. Because if you’re like me you have like 20 email addresses, for a time there you got a free email account with everything you signed up for. So that makes contact a little easier.

Now, I know some of you are like, OMG what a player, well yeah I was in my younger days but now, I’m not, but hey if you’re going out to just get your rocks off and you both want it, then go for it. I’m not going to judge.

Music, Makes the People Come Together

Ok, one thing you have to know about me is that music plays a big part in my life. I don’t know where I heard it the other day but it said music is there in good times and bad. That’s so true. For me there are certain songs that make me happy, sad and one in particular that when I’m feeling down will just make me totally loose it. I know what you’re thinking now, what song? Well I’ll let you post comments and see if you can guess it, but I’ll give you a clue, it was done in the 90’s (I know big hint) and a guy sings it and he was a solo artist. Other then that you’re on your own.

For some reaons I like women singers better then men. I’ve always been that way, I’m not sure why. Some of my favorites are Faith Hill, who I’m watching right now on her NBC special, I should have taped it but I forgot too, DOH, I have loved her last three albums. But more on that later, other favorites are Gloria Estefan, Vanessa Williams, and the typical gay music Cher, Barbara, Bette Midler. As for men I love Elton John, prob have the most of him then anyone else, Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, to name a few. Some fo the Groups I like are of course ABBA, Brooks & Dunn, Pet Shop Boys. These are just to name a few there are much much more that I like. And this is off the top of my head, I have a boat load of CD’s so I never can recall what I have off the top of my head, but it’s in the computer! Yeah I’m a geek.

But there are a few artists that just speak to me. You know you hear a song and it just speaks to you. Like the singer reached in your soul and pulled out a song and is singing just to you. There are a few artists who do this, the main one is Stevie Nicks. I don’t know what it is about her songs but there is a connection with her music. It just touches something in my soul. The other singer who really does this is another singer songwriter, Cheryl Crow, which is ironic, when All I want to do is have some fun, came out, I hated it, and really tuned her out. Then she came out with songs like Every Day is a winding Road, Favorite Mistake and I really took note of her and now I’m hooked, I think she totally rocks. I haven’t heard her new album but I have her greatest hits and I just love it. The last one, I have already mentioned, and she’s not a song writer but she picks songs that just do it for me, that’s Faith Hill. Her last two albums really have some great songs on it. I really liked the album Cry, it’s got some great songs and so does Firefly. Probably my favorite song by Faith Hill is “Like we never loved at all” with her sexy husband Tim McGraw. Just a great song after you’ve broken up. Just I felt the song the first time I heard it. This album has some great songs, another line I like is “stealing kisses from a boy, now you’re begging affection from a man, In my house dress, don’t you know who I am?” DAMN, that’s a line.

As I said earlier music touches me. When I’m depressed I can’t hear happy music, it has to be down and slow, when I’m mad I want to hear very loud and fast. Also when I’m upset or something is going wrong I listen to Motown. Classic Motown, Marvin Gaye, Supremes, Four Tops and the Temptations. Just something about it calms me down. And when I’m mad or upset I also sing really loud and to anything in the car, usually something that is very emotional and I’m sure I hack it to shreds, I can’t sing a note. Like I say the only person that has to suffer from my signing is my man. LOL I laugh for obvious reasons. But that’s in the car with the iPod, and I will say Apple rocks and has the best MP3 player, and no I’m not biased.

Yeah I have very diverse music interests. It drives people crazy. Let’s see what’s in my iPod now…

My Birthday.... It's All About ME!

Well, today was my birthday, and usually I’m all into but this year, with the sprained ankle and such I’m in no mood for it. But usually the birthday is the end all be all of the year for me. I guess I should explain why it’s so important to me.

Well, its just something that can’t be taken away from me. Even in the darkest days I had in my life I always had the birthday. I guess I took it as a celebration of me. I had some really bad times in my teens and early twenties and accepting being gay, making everyone happy and no self confidence. Which for the most part I have worked out a lot of that. I guess it’s hard for me to put into words on a page, in my mind it all make sense but actually putting this down into words just is hard. I don’t to sound like a total nutcase but as someone told me we all grow up in time and I guess my time is now.

It’s just I’ve never made a fuss about anything in my life. I’ve always been low key and laid back and as I told someone this birthday about what present to get me. I said “Look, I don’t care what you get me, it can be something for $2 or $2,000, as long as it comes from the heart, I’m one of the few people I know that still think it’s the thought that counts.” Which is so true with me. If you put thought and say, OMG Tim would love that, means so much more to me. But I guess growing up I always wanted a big party and never had them, I had a few close friends rather then a large group. Which I still have today, close friends that is. Which you have read about most of them.

This birthday is different for some reason, I guess because I’m going through a lot of transitions this year. Which for some reason made me seem old this week. It’s not the number 35, its just so much has happened this past year that I realize it’s time to move into the next part of my life. Graduate College, get my career started and get a good man. Well I may have one of those done, lol but we’ll see, and I’m talking about the man part. But I’m taking is slow and so is he, so that’s a great thing. I wonder what he’ll think when he reads this. Yes he reads this daily LOL, and how can I write something I don’t want him to know LOL, I guess I shouldn’t pic a public forum, but I’m glad he reads it, He surprised me the other day and quoted things off the blog and it made me feel special.

I’m supposed to be talking about why my birthday is so important to me. HMMM I’m telling you this is much easier when I think about it then write it. I guess it boils down to it makes me feel special. For once the attention is on me, which is very unlike me, I’d rather be the person behind the scenes working rather then the person center stage, I’ve always liked that. The birthday I’m on center stage. One day a year isn’t bad. See that wasn’t hard, lol I just had to ramble on for a bit. I guess we all need to feel special sometimes.

T is for Thanksgiving, um not today it’s for Thong

Ok I make no excuses for me liking thongs. I think they are sexy, others do, so I say to each their own. But the day started off with me reading my blogs and on the Towleroad. They have a top story the Marquette University lacrosse team was suspended from campus due to hazing that happened with thongs, beer and bongs. Yes that’s right str8 boys in thongs. Why is it that I have found tons of pics of str8 frat boys in thongs? Hmm kinda makes you wonder. Mainly the pics are at parties and such but still, where are the boys getting the thongs. Some are women’s thongs that they got from friends but some are men’s thongs and you just don’t see many frat boys going to buy thongs. But here are a few more pics of str8 guys in thongs.



This was just the start of the day, that would have thongs at the center front of my day. Well I was on aol bored and chatting, and ran across one guy who had pics in thongs. He’s a bi guy and the same guy in Gwinnett that took pics of me years ago took pics of him. I noticed the same kitchen and headboard on the bed. So we chatted for a bit and he has the butt for a thong. Then he stopped talking. Figures with online chat sometime. But hey got to check out some nice pics.

Then another guy I talked to about a year ago sent me a message about what he did in his thong that I convinced him to buy last year. I haven’t met him but he told me some interesting things, that his massage therapist did after the massage, you don’t have to have too much imagination to realize what happened.



So it’s been a very interesting day so far, never guessed today would be a thong day rather then turkey day! Kidna interesting if you ask me. Hope to see more thongs around!

Not a good two for day….

I found out last night that J2’s partner or new bf is in the hospital, I may have mentioned this already but, he called me last night and said he was on the way to the hospital, but he didn’t sound worried, and I thought he was being a smart *ss, just like we do to each other. Just like I told him the other night Thomas and me had a fight and it was over. I’m so bad. But he wasn’t kidding. His bf was admitted with appendicitis. I called him this morning and he said they were taking him to surgery at 9 AM and then called he called me later around 3 and said that there was no news.

Well the day went on, and I’ve sprained my ankle again, I’m so tired of it, but that’s another story. But around 7 he called me back and said that his appendix had ruptured so they couldn’t do the easy one they had to actually cut him open and do it. Not good, so J2 is a little stressed about everything and understandably so, I told him I’d help him as much as I could. But not sure how well I’ll be with this ankle. So I told him to call me later, but he said he talked to his man and that he seemed good, well as could be expected, but I just hope everything goes well. Keep a good thought for him.

As for my ankle, grrrr, there’s something with the ligaments or something below my ankle on the inside of my foot that every now and then it just goes out. I gotta get a job and insurance again. Luckily I’m watching the Faith Hill special, so far so good, I gotta write my blog entry about music. Oh well, I just need a hug tonight, just been a crummy day. Ok, gotta put my foot up and hopefully get better before Friday so I can go out and have fun….grrrrrrrr

The Internet is a Wonderful Place and the Sox Rock!

Yes and today I mean it, unlike a lot of times where you run across useless info or a trick you have long tried to forget but runs across you and won’t let go. But today it is a good thing. I was on Bear 411 the other week and got a message out of the blue. It was someone I knew a few years back, who we’ll call Sox Fan, because he’s a big Red Sox fan.

Ok we need a little background on Sox Fan, well we met on AOL a few years back. We both like undies and he’s the one who told me about the straight boy who wore a thong. I was like NO WAY, but from what I remember his gf at the time narced him out. So we talked underwear and he told me that he got thongs in Wal-Mart. Which took me like two years to find here in Atlanta area. Then for some reason we lost touch. For what reasons I don’t recall.

Then as mentioned above he sent me a message out of the blue on Bear 411 and I was like this is a small world. We reminisced a little and caught up. He moved and got a man. They have been together for over a year but known each other for a while. He’s supposed to come down for a wedding, with someone he went to college with. He went to UGS in Athens. Which would be great to meet him. And he invited me up to Maine to his beach house this coming summer. So gotta get my ass to the Gym and work out and wear my Speedos again.

But he called me this am and mad me jealous, he and his partner didn’t have sex once but twice, once last night and once the night before, grrrrr, I’ll leave out the detail that got me the most today LOL it’s funny. But he asked did he have an entry and I said, you deserve your own entry.

He’s got the Boston accent that I love, shh don’t tell my southern friends I maybe shipped out of the south. We talk a few times a week online and on the phone. You know Sox fan is one guy I wish I lived in the same town. Usually my luck is like that. I meet really great guys but usually they are 1000 miles away, But I think the tide is turning on that, this past year I have met J2, Thomas and a few others. So life is pretty good. Now I’m going to try and get Sox fan to post a comment or heck, maybe get him to write up a bit about me and be my guest blogger for the day, I think I’ll offer Thomas the same but he doesn’t have to take me up on it right now but the offer is there, he has his own blog which I need to link, I’ll do that soon. I have to say, he reads the blog daily so I’m sure he’ll read this before we talk. He’s out of town right now. LOL well I guess I’ll have to be good, darn LOL But back to my point of my posting, I’d love to hear what Sox Fan has to say about me. Ok Sox Fan, you wanna guest blog? Birthday Celebration… strippers?

Yes it’s a two for day! Ok the birthday came and went, well the celebration. It was a very low key I gathered with 8 of my good friends and we did dinner at Maggiano’s, and man was it good. I love Maggiano’s so much. I had some very good friends I’ve had for a while and some new ones. It was a good nite and I had a DATE, yeah the new man went with me. I have a group of friends who are, how shall we say, very outspoken, and he fit right in. It’s the large personality thing. LOL, but something tells me there is a lot to learn about him. Kinda of like an oinion, there are many layers to him. But more on that later.

But the day began with me and Thomas going to the gay rugby match. It was full of beefy boys, great eye candy. I had my work out partner, who never worked out with me come up to me and I had no clue who he was, I suck at recognizing people after talking on line or meeting once. I think he was pissed but hey I was honest I didn’t know who he was. Then the rugby team had a beer bust at Burkharts and we went, none of the rugby boys were there, and we left around 4:30 to get to dinner by 6. I was told by M&T that we were going to the early bird special. But the one in Buckhead only had 3 or 10, so when Perimeter said 6 I was on that. So we went to dinner. The only problem with dinner is that it was too noisy and J2 sat at the end of the table and he didn’t get a chance to say anything with Thomas, or my end of the table. Well next year I think I’ll have a party so everyone can talk. But the food was great, the only thing I wanted was Veal Parmesan. Which I got and killer chocolate cake. I think our waiter Mike was gay. He is a beefy Italian guy, he was sexy to me. But it was a low key night. M&T gave me the Oprah 20th anniversary DVD set, which I wanted, yeah I can be such a homo at times, and got a few other things and Mr. Thomas was dead on in his gift it was scary.

Then me and Thomas went back to his house and hung out and M&T went over to see J&B new house, which shhh you didn’t hear it from me but J&B are no more, so they went with B. then we went to the Eagle for a minute and I had a drink and then went back to Mr. Thomas’ house. It was great. The Eagle T asked me what my angle was, he said me dating was unnatural LOL, you have to know him, he said “Your angle is he’s rich and you’re going to roll him” LOL god I love those too. We went to the gift shop, aka the leather store, and they have a lace up lather jock, if I had been working I would have bought it for myself for my birthday, and put it on right there LOL but alas, no money.

And no there is not hot story like the thong from the stripper last year, but there will be a make up date for naked people. I hopefully will have a good story to tell about that.

If it ain’t broke don’ fix it…. The new Poseidon Adventure.

Ok, I finally got finished watching the new Poseidon Adventure on NBC that I taped, yeah I taped it, not in the Tivo generation yet. I’m still on the A/V limited access road rather then the information super highway. One thing you should know is that I love 70’s disaster flicks. Airport, all four movies, Towering Inferno, and Earthquake. I had my reservations about the redo of one of the most classic disaster films of all time. The original had a great cast, Gene Hackman, Shelley Winters, Leslie Neilson, Earnest Borgnine, Red Buttons, Roddy McDowell and Jack Albertson. Compare this to the new cast Adam Baldwin, Ruetger Hower, Steve Goutenberg, and C. Thomas Howell. Not exactly a step up from the original cast.

Moving on to the plot, well the original is set on New Years eve, when a tidal wave comes and capsizes the ship, and they have to race up through the ship and the obstacles they encounter. Who could forget the “Manny!” screams for Shelley Winters. But the new version had, instead of a tidal wave, terrorist plant bombs on the ship and explode one and the ship capsizes. Now, forget all about the characters in the original. We have a dysfunctional family and the affair the father has with a waitress, the bishop and the Shelley Winters character.

Well continuing on the plot. This plot had to been the worst for a remake. You know there are two philosophies for doing a remake. 1. Either make it better then the original, which happens from time to time, sorta like Oceans 11. 2. Make it campy as hell. Best example of this is the Brady Bunch. This did neither. This would be making Lord of the Rings with the cast of any WB comedy. Just wouldn’t work.

I can’t believe I actually taped it and watched it. Will I ever learn? I should know better then watch a Made for TV movie. If I want Drama I should go tune in Lifetime, at least they know drama.

I HAD A DATE!

Yes its true. Well it was a meet someone off line, but it turned out to be a three hour conversation. So I guess that would be considered a date. I consider those one hour, meet and greets, just that, nothing more. But I met Thomas: The Mo, as he requested to be referred by. And for the record, I did tell him I was going to write about him in the blog. Ok on with the story, we met, well I’ll leave that a mystery for now, but it was online and we did chat for about two weeks. I have my late class on Monday nights and we met at a bar in East Atlanta and we talked for three hours, I kid you not. And the really amazing thing is I never checked my watch aka cell phone, once for the time. With me that’s pretty good, in fact that’s’ just damn amazing. But Thomas was just so easy to talk to and the night just zoomed by. I wish we could have talked more but I needed to get home and get stuff for class the next day.

But let me tell you about him, first off he’s got the guy next door looks, which we all know I like more then anything. With me keep the models and the people like that, they are stuck on themselves. Just regular guys just get me going and get my attention. Well, he also has a large personality, which means he’s very colorful and funny and just he has a presence about him with I really like. Get your minds out of the gutter too, I know what you were thinking. He has a job, which is good and it’s involved in the arts, and I think he’s pretty intelligent as well, and we all know I can’t go out with a stupid guy, nothing drives me crazy then trying to talk about things in the world and they look at you like you’re speaking Chinese. With Thomas I can actually talk and I have realized that what I’ve said before, I want man who’s smart but also intelligent in other areas then me. I think this is Thomas too. It’s been pretty interesting.

And yes I have been myself and stated things up front. The truth from the beginning. Which I have gotten flack from many readers and friends. You shouldn’t do that and you shouldn’t say that and all sorts of stuff, Well I think Thomas is the same way, we’ve joked about both being commitment phobic, and I know I am, and it’s pretty cool, he’s just laid back and easy going about things. But the great thing about him is his sense of humor, OMG he made me laugh all night long and I hope I made him laugh too. Sense of humor is the key for me, make me laugh and you’re so in. Nothing sexier then a funny man.

But, we’ve chatted since our date, which was 3 days ago and both say we want to take things really slow and let things happen and evolve over time. Which is awesome to me, in this town you’re married after a week. I don’t want someone to marry, I want someone to get to know, hang out and take it from there. We’ll just take it one day at a time and see what happens. BTW he has his own blog too, so I’ll post a link to it as well. Just wanted to let you know what was going on and I did have a date! And yes we have another date in the works and a third, go figure, LOL, this is new to me, a third date, wonder what you do on it LOL, and for the record, we didn’t have sex the night we met, just talk and a hug!

I have a following! Well 3 steady readers but It’s a start.

Ok, well it’s not all that, but I have knowledge of a few regular readers. Which I’m pretty psyched about. I am very happy how the blog has taken off. I have a few really good links, from the view from 35,000 feet which does blog reviews, thanks guys and from Rocketman’s Launch Pad. Thanks Rick, and the entry I did about Skin Tight parties really did some great stuff. I just thing it’s awesome in one month I doubled my total hits. Thanks guys. I have one link that is in Spanish and I’m not quiete sure it’s a good post, so if anyone speaks Spanish let me know, I want to know what is being said about me, babblefish didn’t tell me much.

And before I get into the entry, be warned the postings over the next two weeks may not be as frequent, school work and the birthday are coming up. And for those who know me, the birthday is an event, it’s a week long celebration, that is being cut back this year, grrr, due to funding problems, yeah that’s it. But next year will be back in full force.

Joe.My.God - I have to say this is one of the first blogs I ever came across. And I love the way Joe writes, he’s witty, funny and totally sounds like the kind of guy I could go grab a beer/drink with and just talk for hours. He lived in Tampa and reminds me so much of my friend T, (of M&T) and emailed Joe once and asked was there something in the water about Tampa and long, involved, funny stories. They have similar stories, I wonder if they ever met…hmmmmmmm. He lives in NYC now and has just as many stories, One day I will be up on his level, I hope! Check him out I think he is the god of blogging.

Rocketman’s Launching Pad - Formerly Rocketman’s Ramblings, I think, a guy in Chicago in the Chorus up there and I think he reminds me a lot of me in ways. He seems like such a great guy, from the blog postings I’ve read. Check him out as well plus he gave me a link from his site. Which I didn’t know he did! Till I check Technorati one day. Thanks Rick, and he just went on a date so go read all about it, he sounds sweet as hell.

Kinda Like Porn, No Real Plot - Billy is the first blogger I talked too. He’s a great guy and has some really funny stuff on his site. You can read about him and is partner on his site. He’s a great guy so go over and check him out.

A Muscle Boy in training - http://www.laakapu.org/ - this is a blog with good eye candy. For the life of me I can’t remember his name but he’s a teacher in Hawaii and the title says it all.

Scott-o-rama - Scott has a great blog for more eye candy and It’s fun to read about him and his bf, buckaroo. He lives in AZ and I think is another great writer. He is one of the people in the blog world I wish I could grab a beer with and talk, just think he’d make a great friend.

Large Tony - And yes Tony is large, and I ain’t talkin’ as in weight, I’m talking something else, you know what I mean. I think I have some things in common with Tony. I think me and him have very similar personality aspects. But he posts about once a week but they are pretty good posts.

Best Gay Blogs - This is a great site to find other blogs. I hopefully will be reviewed on it soon, I know they are busy and have a lot of blogs waiting to be reviewed. But I’m happy they linked me from the site, if they never review me then that’s ok, but I have a link on a very high traffic site. But check it out almost daily for new blogs and and reviews.

Towleroad - This is a site devoted to sports, and hot pics from sports. Are we noticing a theme here? LOL Yeah I like blogs with hot pics on it. But not all on this list are. But some are great writers.

Mr. Brian’s Opinions - I like Brian’s blog because I was told by Billy that me and him did underwear posts the same week. LOL Again another small world. I read him and he’s written a book, so it’s pretty cool to read his blog.

Sodomy Creek - An Atlanta guy, he is dating with Monotonous. I think it’s cool to read what other guys in ATL are writing about and what’s going on.

Monotonous - Again he is dating Sodomy Creek, for the life of me I can’t remember names, I know know bad Tim, but he just got an iBook as well so It’s great when you read about people switching to Mac

Boys Briefs - Chris, see I do know some names, is another Atlanta guy and writes about everything. He just started dating a guy and I think likes undies as well. He had a cool Halloween costume, and just got an inteterview on Best Gay Blogs. I thought at first he was a circuit boy but he’s really impressed me with his blog.

So these are what I’m reading, I know this week I’ve been slack but it’s been a busy school week. I actually had a date, with Thomas: The Mo, yes that’s what he asked to be called, and I already told him I’d be writing about him in the blog. So I hopefully will have it posted tomorrow. But no promises.

Need help; stretching???

Breaking up…. What’s the best way to get on after it’s happened.

I have two really good friends who just broke. And I must say I was not surprised, I was more surprised it took so long. But I won’t go into details about it, just not fair to either of them and it’s so far been a civil break up for someone who’s been together for over 3 years. Which is a good thing. But it got me thinking. This situation is very much like the one I had with my ex. What do you do when one partner is over the whole relationship and the other will do anything to save it?

I’ve been on both ends of this but the longest relationship I had was over 2 years, and I was the one who wanted to save it. Looking back now, you see things so clearly, hindsight is 20/20. What happened was for the best, but when I was in the situation it was not. Its my feeling that if you’re the party who is over the relationship and you have tired to fix what was wrong and it can’t be fixed or the other person is unwilling to fix it, ti’s time to end it and move on. A lot of people say, “well what about the other partner? Their feelings are going to get hurt” Yeah that’s very true, and it’s better to do it sooner then later. I think if you do it later, and you’re the one over the whole situation then you will only get worse as time goes by and resent your partner for having to stay there. It’s never easy ending a relationship (for most of us) that has gone on for many years but sometimes it’s for the best.

As for the one who wants to save the relationship. I made my ex promise me at the beginning if there were problems let me know, or if he ever wanted out tell me right then and not leave me hanging on. Well this didn’t’ happen. About a year before we broke up, it was my birthday party and he didn’t want to come and was over it, looking back now, this was the beginning of the end. He came to the party because my grandmother died that day and he was there for moral support. But things went down hill from there. We constantly fought, and life just became crappy. Then we had a talk and determined we should separate for a while. This really took me by surprise but you can’t make someone love you and if things progress so far with out anything being said or done to fix them, sometimes it’s just too late to change it. That’s what happened to me and my ex. He let things build up so much and kept things in so long that when they did come out he spend all his emotional energy already and to him it wasn’t worth saving. And I understand that, I hated him for many months but I realize that our relationship never had good communication and we never really talked. I don’t think we were good friends even. It was all about sex at times. Then after about a month or more of separation, he decided to end it and tell me on July 4th, I know quite ironic in a way. But before that I realized that things sucked between us and things would not change and I was actually thinking about doing the breaking up. But didn’t, now in his defense, he did it on the phone, which was not the way he wanted to do it, but you know when someone tells you they want to talk and you just instinctively know that it’s bad, that’s what it was that night. We have since made up and talk occasionally but I wouldn’t consider us friends, we are just too different I think. Do I still love him, no, I don’t, and I really don’t remember why I did, I know that’s sad to say but that relationship taught me a lot and I’m very glad I had it. The next one will be much better.

After we broke up I was convinced we would be together again, and we were meant for each other. Well I was one step away from a stalker I tell ya, but that never happened. For the first month or so I was devastated, Right when it happened, I was like I can’t date again, I don’t know what’s it’s like, it sucks dating, and all that. But it’s one of the best things that happened to me. Yeah in the beginning it sucked but every day it got better, and all things heal in time. Yeah I gave up dating for a while to find myself and I think I have, I think anyone who dates me now will have a much better friend and partner because of it. I have found out what’s important and what’s not. So break up’s are not a bad thing at all. Even though they seem your world is falling apart. I think it was really hard on me because I really had no friends at the time of the break up. If you have no friend you can’t possibly make it sane through it, there were times I thought I was going crazy, you need a friend to say, we need to get you out of the house and get your mind off things. Which I’m trying to do to my friends, both of them, which is something different, you’re friends to both but you’re in the middle. I just have to pay attention to what you say and keep word to both parties.

200 in One Day!

Whooo howooo, can you believe it I had 200 visitors in one day. I think over the past week and a half I have almost doubled my readership for the past year. I want to thank Droo for posting a link in his yahoo groups. Thanks for reading guys and check back often. This last week and a half has been sucking but hey can’t let it get me down. But I’m totally psyched about the increase in traffic (see graph below).





I have my site posted on a few more larger sites and I hope to get more readers soon. Now I have to come up with topics to write about and keep it fresh and new. This past week I wish I had a guest blogger to write, but I didn’t. maybe soon. Stay tuned and tell your friends!
