Underwear for Everyone!

Well I know it’s about time I talk about undies. I am going to share a secret with you that I found out this past week. There are several sites with clearance underwear sections. I mean great undies and good brand names for next to nothing.

The first company is Erogenos. Its one based here in Atlanta area. I have yet to order anything from them. I tired the other wee but have had credit card drama. I’ve been living all them so need I say more? Well they had Unico and a baskit jock on clearance. And heck they have a lot on clearance. About half off what they usually have it for. I have found them a while back off the 2xist web site, they are listed as a seller near by me. I have seen them on for a two years and even emailed them about a job a while back, hey, didn’t hurt asking, they weren’t hiring but you never now.

The one thing I really like about Erogenos is that they have some really unique undies and swimwear. An example of that is Rufskin from Brazil, wow, some of it is really cool. They use net, mesh and all sorts of stuff. Check it out on their site. Another great find is Tulio, they do swim wear and not just bikinis but square cuts and board shorts. They are really cool. I wish most gay boys wore speedos still but a lot don’t’, but this brand shows there is a lot of styles that can be sexy when done right. So don’t just shop for the clearance stuff but the good stuff too!

The next place is N2N Bodywear. They have a great clearance section. They have 10 and 15 buck sections. But with their stuff you have to have the body to back it up. I hear from a buddy, they rock. They are one of the best suits you can get. I haven’t tried them yet but then again I’m not in the best shape. They also have undies too and I will try them out soon I hope.

This is just a quick post about gear and I hope I hear from you about what gear you like and where you shop. I want to do a “Where to shop for undies on the net” post soon

Wear something comfy!

Doctor Who Lives on.

Ok, yeah at times I can be a big geek, and prob was considered one in HS but this weekend we watched the new Doctor Who first season. The season will air on SciFi network but if you’re not willing to wait for it to air you can order it from Amazon in Canada. (http://www.amazon.ca) Which was good. The production value is way up, and the graphics and special effects are great. Although I have the new logo. But that’s the only thing that I really don’t like.

If you’re familiar with the old series, the new one will be easy to follow. Although one big thing is the sexual undertones, one of the new companions is Captain Jack, and what a hottie he is, who’s one comment was, I was up for execution once, but I went home with both my executioners. And the flirting between not only the men and women but the between the men. It’s Doctor Who for a new millennium.

The only other thing that I really thought they could do better with is that most of the stories, centered around Earth. The old series they would just end up somewhere, this one just about all the stories centered around earth and problems with it. But we’ll see how the next season goes. Which just started in England on Christmas day.

The Daleks are back and you get some new enemies as well. Some really good ones. The one thing I hope they bring back are the Cybermen. But it should be a great season and I’m glad it’s back on the air.

Yeah this is a total geek post! By the way check out the new Doctor Who Website at http://www.bbc.uk.co/doctorwho Hope you enjoy I’d be curious what others think of the new series.

Have you ever been in a fight with an Alligator?

Ok, I have to tell you what me and Thomas have been doing on Friday nights. Oh get your mind out of the gutter. We have been going to Dad’s Garage and seeing Scandal. Which is their improv weekly soap opera. Each year has a different theme and this year is reality shows. And you know I’m in heaven with that. But for those of you who aren’t in Atlanta, Dad’s Garage is a local Theater company that specializes in comedy and specifically improv comedy. They are really funny. At least I think so.

But the story is one where they live in a house and they win Greenland, or is it Iceland, we don’t know, it keeps changing. And I have no clue how they win it but that’s part of the fun of it. But they have several characters, some of the more notable is the Wal-Mart Ollan Mills photographer, The former child star now a producer, a gay guy named Poncy Highlands (an ATL reference, if you lived here you’d think it was funny) and my personal favorite, Dorothy. Dorothy is a homeless woman, with a shopping cart and lives in a garbage can like Oscar the Grouch in Sesame Street, she actually does scenes in the trashcan. It’s too funny mutha f*cka. This comedy is so not right. Dorothy steals the show. But as it goes on, people get killed off, pregnant and who knows what eles their twisted minds can come up with.

This ties into the headline. One of the best lines in the show was when Dorothy said “You ever been in a fight with an alligator? Well someone is going to loose a limb” It cracked me up, I know you’re thinking that’s probably stupid but I love it, it’s a location joke. Meaning you had to be there.

Well tomorrow is my school conference, for the southeast and I hope it goes well I have to be up at 5:30 AM and get ready and go, god I’m going to be hating life tomorrow. But it’s going to be a fun day, the conference, a nap, and Scandal at 10:30 PM, it’s going to be a very long day.

I’m also looking forward to NYC, I can’t wait, I was a little worried about money and such but things are looking up, I’ll tell you more about that later as things get firm, again no comments from the peanut gallery. But it was a good day.

Have a great great day!

I’m burned out, and speaking of burned….

Ok, I’ve been bured out by life and things in general. The last thing I want to do is write in the blog. But I know I need too. I have a good week last week and I’m still waiting to hear back from the one company about the job fair I went too. The whole job thing is just getting me down. I’m so tired of sending out resumes and getting nothing back, not even no thank you. So I decided if I’m gong to be rejected go all the way. I am focusing on marketing jobs. That’s what I want and I’m skipping the administrative jobs. Which I f*cking hated to begin with. A lot lately has me worred. The job and money are at the top of the list. I graduate in about two months and that damn strategy class has me stressed out as well. I am at the point I just want out of school, and I’m so damn ready for it. It’s been so many years.

I started school right after high school in 1988. Yeah way back, hell, people in first grade back then have finished college before I did! But I had to take all those developmental studies classes and I finally learned algebra. So I went full time for the first year. Then after I didn’t pass two classes in DS, remember never go to McDonald’s during the class. And come back. But the following year I took regular classes and a full load, that was the last time it happened. After that the folks said pay for it yourself. And I took one class a quarter and registered phase II so I took all my electives. My advisor said no more electives. But my major varied over the years, actually from week to week, but my declaired majors were in order: Political Science, Film, Political Science (break) Marketing, CIS, CIS/Marketing, Marketing. Why I ever tried CIS, more on that later. But Pol Sci is a total useless major unless you teach. So I took every class I could, Race relations, philosophy, and sociologies I could. But Race relations was the best. Was taught by a Korean teacher, was great.

But then I dropped out, well mainly because I never got anytime to see my ex and I had been going non stop for like 4 years or more , even summers. So I was going to take a few semesters off and go back, but I got a new job in retail, Blockbuster Music, which I had a great boss and great people to work with. And was there till 97, the break started in 94. So I left there after DRAMA and in 1998 I applied to go back, so I actually went through registration but it was like 1100 for one class and was like hell no I can’t afford that. So I waited a year and reapplied and got financial aid and I was back in 1999. Its wired going back to a school after a 5 year break. So much had changed and when I went the first time it was a community, sorta, and I was involved with many orgnizations, SGA, the yearbook (drama there too), programs board and the news paper. But this time back I was like nope not going to get involved with that, it took too much time. But I did get involved with the American Marketing Assoc. But back to the post, I started back and had to take the dreaded business core classes. Economics and Accounting the first semester back almost kicked my ass. I got a 54 on my first Accounting test, and the prof said drop it but I didn’t, and I made a come back. She said that was the first person had such a low grade and came back. GO ME, but the econ class, I had no clue about it, we had quizzes and I started strong then by the end I got the big goose egg. I thought I got a D in the class but I managed with a C, and the second semester of both I did better and got C’s in both, should have had B’s. After that I got nothing lower then a B. So I kicked ass and worked my butt off. But I started as marketing, and then changed to CIS, why I don’t know why. That was the stupidest move I ever made, but then after the tech failure I said hey I’ll do a double major, it’s only 4 more classes, and after I while I said hell no, I want out, so I changed it back to Marketing. I figured that if I got a degree in marketing that it would be a degree I would use even if I never go into marketing. But so far I’ve been hooked on marketing it’s something I want to do. It’s fun to me, so many people are like “Uch, marketing”

So that brings me up to this semester, May 13th is day. The damn strategy class. And the job hunt. I think I have skills and I surprise myself at times. I’m not a very type A person, I’m more laid back and type B as I call it LOL. But this past year has really brought out more in me. Working with the family showed me college has paid off. Its well worth the investment. Also some temp jobs I’ve done really showed me that I’m not as shy as I thought I was.

Another great addition to my life is Thomas. We are so much a like but we’re so different too. It’s scary at times we’re so much a like, it’s like he can read my mind. But there are so many differences too. Thomas as I have described him has a very large personality. Which is true and he’s very out going and very Type A. The perfect example of this is with softball, I told him I’d go on the worst team in the league and have fun, cause I just like to play. He was like “OH NO, we gotta get you to win” or something like that. Well I suck at softball, I mean I’m bad, but I have so much fun playing so I just have fun. I’m the sappy, it’s not if you win or loose it’s if you have fun playing the game. Which I know when Thomas reads this he’ll be like “boy didn’t I teach you anything LOL. But that’s me.

So life in the last year has really turned around and I really like it. I need to do more with the blog and I will. Hell I was just going to type in how burned out I was this just evolved into this.

Oh, before I forget, the second part of the headline. Well this week at our house had some excitement. My mother totally burned popcorn, I’m not talking, the mildly burnt, I’m talking smoke filled the house and part of the microwave got burnt. The house smelled for two days. How poetic for the burned out posting.

Lastly, The hot guy of the week will be posted tomorrow rather then Friday. Just becaue I have my conference Friday and then a weekend with the man. And actually the next few weeks I may move it to posting it Thursday, but we’ll see.

Have a good one guys.

Ralph Lauren Now Makes Underwear

OK I make no secret that I love underwear. I have noticed that Ralph Lauren Polo now has some really cool undies. We all know I’m a fan of skimpy and tight undies. Before now mostly RL has done just briefs and boxer briefs. Well they have come out with low rise, bikinis and thongs. I was at the mall yesterday and saw them. I was like NO WAY!

I came this close to buying some but I didn’t. They look really cool (as you can see by the pics. Being a student and unemployed I have to watch things, and paying $10 or more for a pair of undies is a little much right now. I just wanted to inform you on the new undies. I’m also going to write some cool places to get undies from in the next day or two.

Good Day Bad Day

Ok I know I have neglected my blog, but to be honest I’ve been burned out and just out of it, I’m in my last semester of schoool, I grad May 13th and hell I haven’t been doing much on that. But I want to do some new things to the blog but haven’t sat down and done them yet. But bare with me.

The Good!
Well I had a job fair today with an advertising company, one just for itself and it went pretty good. I think I’ll make it to the full interview, today was just a 10 minute see if they want you back. The guy who interviewed me told me that he liked the format of my resume, I had marketing and MS Office skills. They will call me in the next week or so and let me know yea or nay. So I’ll keep you posted.

The Bad!
The damn strategy class I have to take to graduate that is a useless piece of sh*t. I mean I have learned this all in Marketing and Management classes, this class should be mandatory for the finance, accounting and computer info geeks. Everything we’ve gone over I have had in every other class I’ve taken. The geeks are like this is new to me. I’m like go take some other classes outside your major. And to top it all we have the stupid simulation game, that is 45% of our total grade that they hand out a poorly written manual and say figure it out. Which sucks and to top it all there are two quizzes, Quiz 1 the average was 78 and quiz 2 was 60%, which if the average isn’t even passing, then there is a problem with the quiz. I’m over this class, and I hope people at GSU read this, but it won’t do any good, this class is just a pain in the ass. I have an email written to the professor but haven’t sent it but I think I will. I’ll keep you posted on it. I just have to study and do better on the quizzes in regular class we have 11 and the first two in class I didn’t do well on and the online one I sucked at and we drop one, so I’m off to outline chapters, fun fun.

Hot guy of the Week # 19

This is the first Hot Guy of the Week that is an acutal person I have chatted with (ok only through email). But it's Chris Geary and his boyfriend Eric. Chris has one of the best sites around. He has tons of guys in speedos and he looks damn good in one too. Chris travels the globe from his home in England, to Gay Days in Orlando and Mardis Gras in Sydney. These are the most recent pics and he looks like he's really been working out. He looks incredible in a speedo and so does Eric. They make a hot couple! Enoy the pics

I love these superman undies, I really want a pair but haven't found them anywhere! If anyone knows where to get them let me know!

Another great thing about Chris' site is that he has some really good videos he does for each pleace he goes. Usually filled with hot guys in speedos. The thing I like best about his site its real in speedos.

Check out Chris' site: http://www.chrisgeary.com

Burn Baby Burn, Out That Is

Ok, guys I’m burned out after the month I’ve had. With the knees and tooth, I’m just spent. The last thing I want to do is write in the blog but, I know I need too. I just have no clue what to write. I want to do something different and fun, but haven’t come up with anything yet.

I hope you have enjoyed the podcasts and they are really fun to do, I’m starting to get into my own, and actually doing it by myself is starting to be fun, but will take a bit to just talking and not sounding stupid, LOL. I think I need 2-3 beers before doing it. Although I was told today that I was all over the place doing it, and that was a good thing.

I think I’m going to go back to basics and talk about why I started this blog and also my hobbies, underwear and gear. So next week I’ll talk about Terminally single, dating and stories of my life, even though I’m not single any more.

I’ve been asked shouldn’t I change my blog title, I don’t think so I’ve had it over a year and even though I’m dating I’ll always have a big of Terminally Single in me. You can’t take away 9 years being single.

So be good till then!

TV shows in the Daytime

Ok, being stuck at home sucks during the day, if not for the problems with the calf muscles, then for daytime TV. I think daytime TV is for the is far worse then my reality show crack. Being unemployed, I have watched two of the gayest channels around. Lifetime and Oxygen. I watch, when I get up in time, Designing Women, Golden Girls, The Nanny, Will & Grace, Grace Under Fire and Roseanne. Well let’s get started from the top.

Designing Women

I really like this show and always have. I remember when it used to be on Monday nights on CBS. That was a not miss night of TV. But I Lifetime hasn’t played this much. They only play it in the morning for one show. Rather then for an hour and then in the afternoon. Currently the last season is on and it’s the one season I never really liked. It was just a little too over the top for me. I even like the season with Julia Duffy. Looking back on it now, there was so much riding on it and you had so much expectations on the show you were let down. But watching them again years later they are pretty funny and they should have kept her on there. But hind sight is 20/20. I really enjoy watching and supposedly this year the show is out on DVD for season one. But we’ll see. I wish they would run this more but I guess they’ve run it so much that they are giving it a rest. But this gets *****

Golden Girls

Well, what can you say about this show. It’s a classic and I’m glad the DVDs are out, but I only have the first season on DVD. I want the rest. I didn’t remember that there were 7 seasons. I thought there were just 5. I so am Sophia on Golden Girls. I always have stories that I begin with a point then forget what I was trying to prove. I should start all my stories as “Picture it, Atlanta, 1996…” I just think this is a good show that no matter how many times you see it, it just makes you laugh and just enjoy watching it. This originally aired on Saturday nights on NBC, and I remember in HS that I would stay home and watch it. Yeah I know how gay is that. But the Golden Palace on the other hand, OMG were Cheech Marin and Don Cheadle really that desperate for a job. That’s a whole other posting. But Golden Girls is another *****

The Nanny

Well, OMG where should I begin? You know I really liked this show when it was on the air, but looking back now, OMG what crack was I on in the 90s? It’s really bad now. The plots are very much recycled I Love Lucy and everything has been done before. I also hate those sexual tension shows. Where they have this attraction but never act on it. Then finally they do and the show always goes down hill. Remember Ross and Rachel on Friends, I think it was much better after they got rid of the relationship, but wasn’t happy they put them back together at the end. It reminds me of Three’s Company, which is another show I loved in the 70’s and now OMG shoot me if I have to watch it. I watch this show because I haven’t put any DVDs in my player. LOL, but here’s my rating for the Nanny **

Will & Grace

Ok, this is a show I’m supposed to watch, but you know after the second season I never really watched it, I got hooked on CSI. Which I love, I guess I should have taped it and watched it. But George Eds on CSI YUMMY. Ok I really like Karen best of all. I have some new lines from her, my current favorite is “I have a fake laugh that has your name written all over it” I don’t know who does the writing but its awesome. Some shows are better then others but over all it’s a good show. It’s pretty good show too, It’s as real to life as a sit com could get. Yeah there are some stereotypes but It makes me laugh and I keep thinking of how many people I know that are like Jack. I think that Karen should be the one to get a spin off if there is one. I think that is the only one that would work. Unlike Joey, that show sucked, I think they should have given the spin off to Phoebe rather then Joey. My Rating for Will & Grace ****

Grace Under Fire

Grace is prob the middle of the road for me. In the beginning it was pretty funny but as the years went on, it kinda went down hill. But it never really got the Nanny bad. But it has its moments. I think the best was Dave Thomas as Russell the pharmacist. He had the best moments on the show. Then when they brought in Tom Poston as Russell’s father that added to it. They had really great chemistry together. One thing I don’t remember is her best friend leaving her husband and leaving the show, I think for the last season. Its not a bad way to pass some time. This also is on Oxygen network, for their totally assertive female daytime line up. But you gotta wonder what happened to Brett Butler, where did she go, is she one of those who’s careers just fell off and never came back, are we going to find her on a where are they now special? But my rating for Grace Under Fire is ***

Rosanne

Ok, now this has to be one of my favorite shows around. I forgot how good this show was. I mean the reruns has made me laugh and I haven’t seen a lot of them because of work or school. But this show really stands up the test of time. Even over ten years later the show still is funny and just good. I guess the reason I love Roseanne so much is that it so reminds me of my family. Roseanne reminds me of my mom to some degree. Hell it reminds me of my family. With the mother and sister and the whole nine yards. I guess what they say is true, the more you can relate to something on TV the more you’ll like it. I’m glad they have come out with the first two seasons on DVD, and the third is due out in March I think. The first season got a lot of flack because they used the syndication shows rather then the shows they ran on network tv. The shows in syndication are cute 2 minutes shorter and I read some really scathing reviews on amazon.com for using that one. I personally don’t think Roseanne was responsible for this that it is something that just happened. Btw, have you seen Roseanne lately? She does a PSA on nick at night and she has blond hair and I think she looks terrific. I hope she does something soon, I know the “Real Roseanne Show” wasn’t that good but it was a good concept. I just love Roseanne so much, I’ll probably burn out on it soon, watching it on Oxygen and Nick at night, but till then I’m laughing all the way to sleep! My Rating for Roseanne is *****

Well this is my review of daytime TV. I can’t watch anything else right now, talk shows and such would def make me go insane faster then watching infomercials.

The Standardized Test From Hell

Ok, I’m just out of class and let me tell you, what a pain in the ass test it was. We have to take a standardized test about business. All areas they teach, economics, management, accounting, finance, marketing and computer information systems. Ok right off the bat I’m screwed because of econ and finance, which I sucked at both and I promptly forgot 2 days after I took the final. And oh oh oh, one thing that pissed us off was we couldn’t use calculators. Who the f*ck in the business world doesn’t use calculators, excel or something like that. What we’re going to be thrown in to the stone ages and have to use an abacus? Thank god I can count to 21!

But back to the story, well we got the questions about if the company issues bonds an the interest rate is 10% what is the interest paid in year 4 or something like that. Or some ccon BS about here is a graph what is the optimal price of who knows what. Let me just say that if I have to pass this test to graduate, I’d be already enrolling next semester. This was the worst test, I mean this in no way dealt with what you knew about the areas. Like my infamous saying goes, in the real would you’d hire a consultant to do what you can’t or don’t want to do. It’s so true. ARGH, I’m just ready to be done, I’m so in get C in every class mode. Just push me out the door with my degree. After 18 years of college LOL I’m so done.

Other then the test everything else is going ok, I have my resume almost redone, and will have it sent out by the first of next week at the latest. I’ve been applying for jobs on line and time will tell. So if you know someone hiring let me know, I need a job!

Project: Job Attain! The new personal reality show

Ok, I think I should have my own reality show called Job Hunt. Yeah I’m looking for a job, and searching for a job is a full time job in itself. I think I need to start my own reality show. Kinda like the Bachelor but the Job Hunter. You have a list of employers and you go to work at them a day or two and you eliminate each one till you get to the end and you get the perfect job.

The tasks for each job could be similar to the apprentice or something, but I’d want it in reverse where you eliminate the employers. Why would I want to compete with others I’m the one that wants the job. I guess it would be a mix of the Apprentice meets the Simple Life, but I’d need a catchy name for it like… Project: Job Attain! I think it’s not a network show but hell Bravo has done worse.

But I got my resume looked at last night by two professionals in marketing and I got some really great ideas for my resume. I have to figure out three areas of marketing that I want to go into and focus on one job in each and tailor my resume to them. I got some really good input from one guy there who said put stuff I did in school on the resume, which I thought you could do. I was really depressed yesterday but after the meeting I really felt good, I’m figuring out where I want to go, by the end of the week I’ll have the resume done and such! So which me luck.

I even responded to a few jobs on the net today. So maybe something will turn up. I hope so I need money! And a purpose in my life other then sit here and watch Roseanne LOL (more on that in another post)

Speaking of job hunt, I keep getting this call from a group, don’t know who they are from but they always call and say they found my resume on the internet and want to discuss a career opportunity. But when you talk to them on the phone they never tell you what the job is that you have to come into the office before they will tell you that. Ok to me this is a scam, anyone who has ever been interested in me via the internet has either told me what the job was or their website to see what the company does. All I remember is that if it sounds like a scam it usually is. Knowing my luck it’s producing infomercials, wouldn’t that be ironic.

Well have a great one!
