NYC and Softball

Hey there, well I’ve just finished the NYC trip post, a week later, and as soon as I pick some pics and I’ll get it posted tomorrow. But I’m here in bed, I met a guy online who lives in the same neighborhood, what a small world. I also found out that if we had gone to Grey Gardens a night earlier we would have seen it with Rosie O’Donnell. The only famous person we saw was Hank Azaria.

But I started back playing softball. I’m not sure if I posted much at all on softball last year, I’m not sure why I didn’t. But I joined a new team this year, the Cowboys, how appropriate for me. And we started practicing, I think we have a great team. They are a lot of fun and it seems everyone gets along. I am one of two catchers, and no comments from the peanut gallery.

I really enjoy softball. I have fun at it, I suck at it but I enjoy it. Last year our team disbanded and I enjoyed playing with them and we had a good team, Our coach and manager couldn’t come back, and this seemed to happen with a lot of teams in D level. D level is the rec league. So its just for fun.

We had a practice over the weekend were we played a game with another D team, which was my friend Brian’s team, we had fun, but my legs are so sore, I need to find my compression shorts and do squats, OMG I’m still sore, three days later,

I have to do cardio and walk to get my stamina up. Especially for going to NYC again with Thomas, I’ll get left behind. I’m going to school and walking to the aquarium and getting my annual pass and that will be good for me.
