Another day another 50 cents

Well, at the Peanut Plant we laid more people off, so that means even more work for us. UGH, I was going to go hiking tonight. My buddy wasn't able to go, but I was going to go and keep it up. But again we had thunder showers. Which sucks. WE need the rain but oh well. I was going to post pics where I hike but since I didn't go I don't have any to post. So Check back!

Wall-E is Awesome

I saw Wall-E this weekend. At first I was wondering how it would be. The early previews were kind of stupid to me. But as the better previews came out, I was really impressed. For the first 20 minutes or so of the movie there is very little dialogue. But the imagery and the personality of Wall-E make up for it.

Then Wall-E Meets EVE, and he falls in love like in the Hello Dolly Movie he had been watching. He follows her back to the ship and to the Axiom, the ship that left earth for a 5 year mission that turned into a 700 year mission. He has to track her down because she's in shut down mode. Then she wakes up and Wall-E gets to save the day. I know this is exciting isn't it. LOL it's much better then my description.

This is a great movie by Pixar, which they say is as good as Finding Nemo, which I agree, I still love finding Nemo a bit better but this is one to own when it comes out on DVD.

Next we talk about our weeks. I had the cocoon pool party, hiking, Iron man, Wes, crazy week from work and Wall-E. We both had interesting fireworks stories, well that we could see. Robert had a wedding, and family fun, a long week, some time with the boy, Drunken Wii, and theater.

We start our new segment about loosing weight and getting into better shape, we’ll see how I do I”ll probably cheat, lol.

Braves Eye Candy Moved to the Minors

I haven't been to a Braves game this year but part of the joy them is A. the eye candy on the fields and B. the eye candy in the stands. Well the part A will be a little bit less. Jeff Francoeur has been moved to the minors as of yesterday. He has been in a batting slump and so they shipped him off. Which is the right move but he's one off the fan favorites of the Team. They even sell his jersey and he gets plenty of cheers. But hopefully he'll be back and we'll get to see him again in the big leagues.

Happy 4th of July and Pride

Happy Independence day! It's a good day to relax and just enjoy the day. It is also pride here in Atlanta. Which I'm not sure why in the hell we needed to have it 4th of July weekend with all the other things going on in town. I'm kinda over the whole pride thing anyway. So don't expect to see me down at the pride festivities. I'll either be at the movie or hanging with friends. Oh an before I forget don't forget to salute the flag above!

Cow Appreciation Day

The chickafil, is haveing Cow appreciation day. Which is July 16. If you go into a Chick-fil-a, dressed in cow gear you get various food items for free. Which is awesome but I'm not sure I want to dress as a cow get get a mean.

The Day from Hell

It was a day from hell, I'm worn out and I said I would blog every day this month. Now I didn't say what I would blog. It was a long day at work today and I'm worn out. I hope things will change on the job front. Also, I got a great email from a reader of the blog. That kinda made my day. Thanks!
